Task Force Submits a Statement for the Record on the CHRONIC Care Act of 2017

In previous correspondence with the Senate Finance Committee Chronic Care Working Group (February 2016), the Task Force indicated its support for refinement of the CMS-Hierarchical Conditions Category (HCC) model to account for interactions between behavioral and mental health conditions and physical health outcomes. The Task Force is encouraged by the implementation of this policy as well as the implementation of additional provisions of the Working Group’s discussion draft.
