22 Sep HCTTF Responds to the Social Determinants of Health Caucus RFI
The Health Care Transformation Task Force responded to a Request for Information opportunity from the Congressional Social Determinants of Health Caucus. The Congressional Caucus – led by Rep Cheri Bustos (IL-17), Rep. Tom Cole (OK-04), Rep GK Butterfield (NC-01), and Rep Markwayne Mullin (OK-02) – was established to highlight the opportunities to improve the impact of and maximize existing and future federal investments in health, food, housing, transportation, and other important drivers of health. The Task Force provided input on four topics in the RFI:
- Experience with SDOH challenges
- Strategies for improving alignment between health care organizations and other organizations
- Best practices and opportunities for addressing SDOH
- Actions to transform health care payment.
