01 Oct Sustaining the Transformation to Value-Based Payment
Value-based payment and care delivery reforms must be designed with sustainability – across all stakeholder groups – in mind, if effective delivery system reform is to take hold. In recognition of this, the 2017 Health Care Transformation Task Force Board of Directors set “achieving sustainability” as a major theme. To support this effort, the Task Force developed a set of twelve principles for “Achieving Sustainability in Value-Based Payment and Care Delivery” reflecting a consensus process that balanced the different perspectives of each of our membership categories (payer, provider, purchaser and patient groups).
