Webinar: The Pursuit of Affordability in Value-Based Care: Consumer and Payer Perspectives

Affordability remains a key challenge in the U.S., with a third of Americans saying they or a family member delayed medical treatment in the past year because they couldn’t afford it. [1] While value-based payment has shown promise in reducing overall cost, greater work remains to ensure that care is affordable for patients. The economic impact of COVID-19 has caused a significant jump in unemployment and loss of private insurance, which imposes a new stress point for those seeking affordable health care.

The Task Force hosted a webinar with consumers and payers to hear more about how their organizations are addressing health care affordability in innovative ways.
