Webinar: The Role of Lifestyle Medicine in Health Care Transformation

Lifestyle medicine is the use of evidence-based lifestyle therapeutic approaches to treat, reverse and prevent chronic disease and focuses on six areas to improve health: healthful eating, physical activity, stress management, tobacco cessation, maintaining healthy relationships, and sleep improvement. We will also hear from the National Partnership for Women and Families about the recently released consumer advocacy framework for addressing social determinants of health, and the importance of community-based and community-driven population health approaches to ensure all individuals have the opportunity to live healthy, productive lives
