13 Aug The Health Care Transformation Task Force Welcomes Two New Members
WASHINGTON (August 13, 2026) The Health Care Transformation Task Force is pleased to welcome Inflection Medicine and the National Kidney Foundation (NKF) as its newest members. These organizations join the Task Force’s diverse coalition of providers, payers, purchasers, and patients working together to accelerate the adoption of value-based care.
“We are pleased to welcome Inflection Medicine and the National Kidney Foundation to the Task Force,” said Sean Cavanaugh, Task Force Chair, Aledade’s chief policy officer and head of the Aledade Policy Institute. “Both organizations bring valuable expertise and perspectives that will enhance our collective efforts to build a more effective, coordinated, and sustainable health care system.”
“Inflection Medicine was created to make it easier for clinicians to use precision medicine approaches that improve patient outcomes and while also lowering the total cost of care,” said Sean Emerson George, PhD, CEO of Inflection Medicine. “We’re pleased to join Task Force members working across the healthcare system to support efforts that enable personalized, data-driven approaches to value-based care.”
“Kidney disease affects 37 million US adults, and most are unaware. Addressing this underrecognized public health crisis requires coordinated, person-centered approaches that address awareness, access to care, and clinical outcomes” said Miriam Godwin, Vice President of Health Policy and Clinical Outcomes at the National Kidney Foundation. “We look forward to collaborating with the Task Force to advance care models and policies that better support people living with kidney disease, their families, and the clinicians who care for them.”
