15 Feb The Task Force Signs a Letter Urging HHS Secretary Becerra to Continue Direct Contracting

The Health Care Transformation Task Force along with 221 additional organizations signed a letter urging HHS Secretary Becerra to “fix, don’t end” the Direct Contracting (DC) Model. This letter is in response to recent calls from Capitol Hill to cancel the CMMI model. Rather than cancelling it, the letter calls on the Secretary to make refinements to the model to support patients and providers. Ending Direct Contracting would undermine movement toward value-transformation to improve patient satisfaction, reduce costs and advance health outcomes.
