13 Jan The Task Force Provides Input to Congress on Approaches to Improve Care for Dually Eligible Beneficiaries
Today, the Task Force responded to a Request for Information issued by a bipartisan group of Senators seeking feedback on approaches to improve care delivery to individuals who are eligible for both Medicaid and Medicare. HCTTF feedback included recommendations related to the following topic areas:
- Addressing the needs of the most vulnerable via value-based care and payment
- Improving coordination between state Medicaid agencies, plans, and Medicare
- Improving data collection
- Minimizing disruption for beneficiaries
- Building upon the current system
- Expanding access to supplemental benefits
